May Angeles

May Angeles is a Christian worship leader, songwriter, and recording artist. A California-bred, first-generation Filipino-American, she is a graduate of the Music & Worship Arts program at Vanguard University of Southern California. She served as a main worship leader at Mariners Church Irvine for three years. Angeles has also served as a full-time missionary, recording artist, and songwriter with the collective People & Songs and The Emerging Sound. Her catalog includes the single "Never Wanna Go Back" and the song "Love is This," which features Matt Redman. She is also featured on "Throne Room Song" with Ryan Kennedy and "Glory Be" with Mark Alan Schoolmeesters. Her contributions to Christian music have been recognized with awards from the GMA IMMERSE conference competition, where she was named Female Artist/Writer of the Year and Female Vocalist of the Year.
