Michael O'Brien

Michael O'Brien is an American Christian musician and worship leader. Born Michael David O'Brien on August 23, 1964, he is known for his work as a singer, songwriter, and pianist. He joined the Christian music group NewSong in 1999, becoming a former member of the well-known ensemble. Before his time with NewSong, O'Brien had already begun a solo career, releasing multiple albums since 1990. He also served as a Young Adult Pastor at North Coast Christian Fellowship in Encinitas, California. His ministry and musical work have often intersected, with his songs appearing on projects such as *Beth Moore Presents: Voices of the Faithful*, which features his recording of "All the Nations." O'Brien has continued to create worship-focused music, including the album *Psalms, Hymns & Spiritual Songs*.
