Mike Manuel

Mike Manuel is an American Christian country music singer and songwriter. He was born and raised in Houston, Texas, and began his music career performing with his brothers in the Manuel Family Band. In 1996, he relocated to Nashville, Tennessee, to pursue a solo career. His music is characterized by a blend of traditional country sounds with faith-based, inspirational lyrics. His catalog includes songs such as "If There's A Phone In Heaven," "Mama and Jesus," "Pieces of His Heart," "Where's The Family," and "Back in the Country Again." Manuel has achieved multiple number-one singles on Christian country radio. His work has been recognized by several organizations. He was named the Country Gospel Music Association (CGMA) National Entertainer of the Year in 1998 and 1999. He also received the Christian Country Music Association (CCMA) Male Vocalist of the Year award in 1999. The Inspirational Country Music (ICM) organization honored him as Songwriter of the Year in 2006 and 2007, and awarded him Song of the Year for "Back in the Country Again" in 2007.
