MŌRIAH (born Moriah Castillo Peters on October 2, 1992) is an American singer, songwriter, actress, and producer based in Nashville, Tennessee. She previously released music under the name Moriah Peters and is recognized for her work within Contemporary Christian Music. Of Mexican-American heritage, she often incorporates themes of culture and identity into her creative projects. Her career includes the release of the album *I Choose Jesus* (2012) and the EP *Live from the Quarry* (2021). Her sophomore album, *BRAVE*, reached number 9 on Billboard's CCM Charts. Her catalog includes songs such as "Trust," "Known, Seen, Loved," "Brave," and "Oh Fear (My God Is Near)." MŌRIAH is married to Joel Smallbone, a member of the Grammy Award-winning duo for KING & COUNTRY. She has also taken on acting roles in faith-based projects, portraying Bathsheba in *The Chosen* and appearing in the film *Journey to Bethlehem*. Her recent work includes a transition into Latin country music with EPs such as *Nice Life* and *Buena Vida*, featuring songs like "Hasta Mañana."
