Mr. TalkBox

Byron Manard Chambers, known professionally as Mr. TalkBox, was born on July 30, 1976, in Orlando, Florida. He is a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist recognized for his signature use of the talkbox. Chambers grew up in a musical household with parents who were gospel musicians, and his own musical career began at age five when he started playing drums in his parents' gospel group. He has released multiple solo albums, including *My Testimony* (2004) and *My Time* (2010). His catalog also includes the album *The Remixes Animated* and the EP *Show Me the Way*. Mr. TalkBox has toured and performed with a range of artists, including TobyMac, *NSYNC, and Jonathan Butler. He has been featured on numerous Christian and gospel songs, including "My God" by Nashville Life Music and "Never Leave You" with J Moss and Lil Byron. Mr. TalkBox is a two-time Dove Award winner. He was also nominated for a Grammy Award in 2016 for Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song for "Feel It," a track he recorded with TobyMac.
