Mtoni Evangelical Choir

The Mtoni Evangelical Choir is a gospel music group from Tanzania. The choir is also known as the "Lulu" choir and is affiliated with the Lutheran church. The late George Bonge Njabili was a prominent singer and teacher associated with the group. The choir’s catalog includes songs such as "Around The Corner Jesus Coming," "Lulu," "Tazameni," "Haleluyah," "Eee Mungu Wangu," "Mapambazuko," "Nchi Na Vyote," and "Dhambi." Through these recordings, the Mtoni Evangelical Choir has contributed to the body of Swahili gospel music from Tanzania.
