Nikita Carter

Nikita Carter is a musician, composer, and performer whose work includes collaborations with the Christian reggae band Christafari. She has been credited as a lead singer on Christafari tracks, contributing her vocals to songs including "Lock And Step" and "Trailblazers." Her participation with the group has extended to mission-based music and video projects. Outside of her gospel music contributions, Carter has built a long-standing career as an avant-garde improvising saxophonist, composer, and educator. She is also a published author, having released a memoir titled *Both Sides of the Great Divide*. She is based in Vancouver, Canada.
