Nothando Hlophe

Nothando Hlophe is a gospel singer and songwriter from Eswatini. She began her music ministry as a member of the gospel and worship group Women in Praise before launching her solo career. Her music is characterized by themes of faith, redemption, and worship. Hlophe released her debut solo album, *Impilo Yami*, in 2016. Her catalog includes songs such as "Wobuya Lo Jesu," "Lord We Invite You," "Khulula Ugcobo," "Sithumela Wena," and "Methodist Medley." She has performed at major gospel events, including the Spirit of Praise live recordings. Her work has earned significant recognition. In 2019, she won Female Artist of the Year, Best Gospel Artist, and Song of the Year at the 3rd Annual MTN SWAMA Awards. In 2025, she won the "Best of Africa" award at the 18th Crown Gospel Music Awards and also took home Song of the Year, Best Gospel Artist, and Best Live Recording at the National Gospel Music Awards. Following a career hiatus, Hlophe returned to performing in 2022. She released her 2025 live album, *A New Dawn*, which was recorded at the Mavuso Trade Centre. She is also a member of the Eswatini royal family, having married Prince Majahonkhe Dlamini in 2021.
