About One Voice Children's Choir
One Voice Children’s Choir is a non-denominational children’s choir and nonprofit organization based in Utah, known for its diverse repertoire of pop, classical, and inspirational music. The choir was founded in 2001 by composer Masa Fukuda, who originally brought the group together to perform for the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. What began as a project for the Olympic Games grew into a lasting ensemble, and the choir now serves as the flagship ambassador program of One Voice Children, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
The group consists of approximately 180 children and youth, ages 4 to 18, who reside along the Wasatch Front in Utah. The organization’s stated mission is to inspire the world through the power of children’s voices. The choir is non-denominational and includes children from diverse backgrounds, religions, and identities.
One Voice Children’s Choir gained national attention after competing in the ninth season of *America’s Got Talent* in 2014, where they reached the quarterfinals. The group has also achieved significant online success, accumulating over 4.6 million subscribers and 1 billion views on their YouTube channel. Their recorded catalog includes albums such as *Hallelujah* and *A Voice for Love*, as well as popular covers like “Let It Go,” “What Child Is This,” and “When You Believe.”
The choir has been recognized with several honors, including the John Lennon International Music Award and the Best of State Award for Best Children’s Performing Group. They also reached number one on the Billboard Kid Album chart.
