Patti Drennan

Patti Drennan is an American composer, arranger, conductor, and music educator whose work has been widely used in church and choral settings. She earned a Bachelor of Music Education from Oklahoma State University and a Master of Music Education from the University of Oklahoma. For 28 years, she taught choral music in the public schools of Norman, Oklahoma, before transitioning into full-time church music ministry. Drennan served as the Director of Music and Worship Arts at First Baptist Church in Norman for nearly ten years. She currently serves as the Music Director at NorthHaven Church in Norman, Oklahoma. Over the course of her career, she has composed and arranged more than 800 published choral octavos and books. Her work has been published by major companies including Hal Leonard, Shawnee Press, and Jubilate Music Group. Her recorded catalog includes the albums *Shelter in the Time of Storm* (2007), *A Mother Daughter Christmas* (2023), *Echoes of Grace* (2024), and *Requiem of Light* (2025). *A Mother Daughter Christmas* was named IMEA Holiday Album of the Year, and *Echoes of Grace* reached the #1 position on the Billboard Traditional Classical chart. In 2026, Drennan received a Grammy Award nomination in the Best Choral Performance category for *Requiem of Light*. She is also a voting member of The Recording Academy. In 2004, she was honored with the Director of Distinction Award from the Oklahoma Choral Directors Association.
