Positive is the professional stage name of Joel Murray, an international singer, songwriter, and producer from Trinidad and Tobago whose music is explicitly centered on his Christian faith and ministry. He is recognized as a pioneer of Caribbean gospel music, and his work incorporates diverse genres including reggae, soca, calypso, Afrobeat, and contemporary gospel. He operates his own music imprint, Bricksvale Records. Positive rose to prominence with the release of his single "Never Let Go" in 2007.
