Rend Collective

Rend Collective is a Northern Irish Christian folk rock worship band originating from Bangor, Northern Ireland. The group was formed in 2007 as an experimental collective from a young adult Bible study group. The band's name is derived from Joel 2:13, emphasizing heartfelt worship over ritual. The band is known for an energetic, authentic style that blends folk rock elements with communal worship music. Their music features eclectic instrumentation, including ukuleles, accordions, and violins. They are known for their "celebration band" approach to worship. The band signed with Capitol Christian Music Group in 2015. Their catalog includes songs such as "Build Your Kingdom Here," "My Lighthouse," "Counting Every Blessing," "Boldly I Approach," "Rejoice," "More Than Conquerors," "Create In Me," and "Emmanuel You're One Of Us." In 2018, the band sold out the SSE Arena in Belfast, marking the largest attended Christian concert in Northern Ireland at that time. The current lineup includes Chris Llewellyn, Stephen Mitchell, Wil Pearce, Jonathan Chu, and Daniel Jones.
