Rhondha Vincent

Rhonda Lea Vincent, born July 13, 1962, is an American bluegrass singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist who has carried a lifelong commitment to gospel music throughout her career. Raised in Greentop, Missouri, she began performing as a child in her family’s band, The Sally Mountain Show. Known widely as the “Queen of Bluegrass,” she now leads her own group, Rhonda Vincent & The Rage. Vincent’s deep roots in gospel music are central to her artistry. She recorded the live gospel album *Sunday Mornin’ Singin’* at her childhood church in Greentop, Missouri, a project that reflects the music she has performed since her youth. Her catalog also includes gospel songs such as “You Don’t Love God If You Don’t Love Your Neighbor,” “Satisfied,” and “Till They Came Home,” as well as the collaborative track “Wherever You Are.” Her achievements include winning the Grammy Award for Best Bluegrass Album in 2017. In 2021, she was inducted as a member of the Grand Ole Opry, a milestone that honors her lasting presence in American roots music.
