About Ron Kenoly
Ron Kenoly (1944–2026) was an American Christian worship leader, singer, and songwriter. Born in Coffeyville, Kansas, he served in the U.S. Air Force from 1965 to 1968 before pursuing a career in secular music, signing with labels such as A&M, Warner Bros., and United Artists. He later rededicated his life to Christ and transitioned into Christian music ministry.
Kenoly served as a music pastor at Jubilee Christian Center in San Jose, California, and held a Doctorate of Ministry degree in sacred music from Friends International Christian University. His 1992 album *Lift Him Up* was a significant release in his career and was noted for its impact on the praise and worship genre. The album was certified Gold by the RIAA, representing over 500,000 copies sold.
His catalog includes songs such as "Anointing Fall On Me," "Ancient of Days," "Righteousness, Peace & Joy," "Hallowed Be Your Name," "Mourning Into Dancing," "I See the Lord," and "Be Glorified." In 1997, his album *Welcome Home* won a Gospel Music Association Dove Award for "Praise and Worship Album."
