About Rory Feek
Rory Lee Feek, born April 25, 1965, is an American country music singer, songwriter, author, and filmmaker. He served in the United States Marine Corps before pursuing a career in music. He gained prominence as one-half of the country music duo Joey + Rory, formed with his late wife, Joey Feek. The duo released several albums, including the gospel-focused *Inspired: Songs of Faith & Family* and *Hymns That Are Important to Us*.
Joey + Rory won an award from the Academy of Country Music in 2010 and received Grammy nominations. Their album *Hymns That Are Important to Us* debuted at number one on Billboard album charts. The duo recorded renditions of classic hymns such as "Amazing Grace" and "Jesus Paid It All."
Following his wife's passing in 2016, Feek has continued his career as a solo artist, author, and storyteller. He released the solo album *Gentle Man*, which includes the song "Salvation." He is the author of memoirs and children's books, often sharing his personal journey of faith and family life. Feek established Giantslayer Records to support independent artists and frequently shares his life and faith through his personal blog, *This Life I Live*.
