Seyi Weli

Seyi Weli is a UK-based Nigerian gospel singer, songwriter, and worship leader. By profession, she is also a chartered safety engineer. She grew up in a musical family and was introduced to music by her father, who served as a church music director. Weli later served as an active choir member and worship leader for over a decade at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Scotland Headquarters, Fountain of Love. She also worked as a backup vocalist for the interdenominational and multicultural group, Sound of Many Waters, in Scotland. Weli’s music is characterized by a desire to showcase Nigerian culture and heritage while appealing to a global audience. She has stated that she will not remove the name of Jesus from her songs, as it is the essence of her ministry. Her catalog includes songs such as “Victory (Say Yes),” “Give You Glory,” and “Agidigba.” She also released the track “Child of God,” featuring Hachi Weli and Akachi Weli.
