Sojourn Music

Sojourn Music is a musical collective and worship arts ministry associated with Sojourn Community Church, a family of churches based in Louisville, Kentucky. The collective was founded in 2000, with founding member Mike Cosper serving as the church's Pastor of Worship & Arts. The group consists of musicians with diverse backgrounds, including jazz, country, pop, indie, and punk rock. Their music is created for congregational worship, featuring contemporary hymns, psalms, and songs of lament and praise. The ministry aims to serve the church by writing and recording music that helps congregations sing the gospel. Sojourn Music has led worship at national conferences for organizations such as The Gospel Coalition, Acts 29, and Campus Crusade for Christ. The collective emphasizes mentoring musicians in theology, musical skill, and character. The Sojourn Music catalog includes songs such as "New Again," "Behold the Christ," "God Alone," "A Child is Born," "Before the Throne," "Lead Us Back," and "Psalm 126." They also released an album titled *The Water and the Blood: The Hymns of Isaac Watts*.
