Stephen McWhirter

Stephen McWhirter is a Christian worship recording artist, songwriter, speaker, and author based in Louisville, Kentucky. Signed with Capitol Records / Capitol Christian Music Group and Re:Think Music, he is known for his work in contemporary worship music. McWhirter is the co-writer of the worship anthem "Come Jesus Come," which has been recorded by CeCe Winans. The song won Best Gospel Performance/Song at the 68th Grammy Awards in 2026 and reached #1 on iTunes in Christian songs and albums. He is a Dove Award–winning and Grammy-nominated artist. His personal testimony includes overcoming 11 years of drug addiction after a conversion experience. McWhirter has authored the book *Radically Restored: How Knowing Jesus Heals Our Brokenness*, published by Zondervan. He frequently collaborates with artist Jason Clayborn on various projects and albums. His catalog includes songs such as "Cost Everything," "Your Blood Speaks a Better Word," "Triumphant," "Plans," and "Come Out Lazarus!" He has also released the album *My Right Now* and the EP *Acoustic Worship Songs, Vol. 1*.
