Steve Green

Steve Green was born on August 1, 1956, in Portland, Oregon, and was raised in Argentina as the son of missionary parents. He attended Phoenix Christian High School and later studied music at Grand Canyon University. Early in his career, he traveled with the group Truth and sang backup for the Bill Gaither Trio. He was a founding member of the Gaither Vocal Band, serving as their tenor, and was also the former lead singer of the Christian rock band White Heart. He established Steve Green Ministries in 1984, the same year his self-titled debut solo album was released through Sparrow Records. His catalog includes songs such as "Find Us Faithful," "People Need the Lord," "God and God Alone," "Broken and Spilled Out," "He Holds the Keys," "A Mighty Fortress," and "Household of Faith." Steve Green is a seven-time Dove Award winner and has received four Grammy Award nominations. He has also achieved 13 No. 1 songs.
