About TaRanda Greene
TaRanda Greene Beene is an American Christian musician known for her work in Southern gospel, worship, and contemporary Christian music. She rose to prominence as a featured soloist with the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir and was also a member of the family gospel group The Greenes.
Born on April 6, 1979, Greene married Tony Greene in 2001. Following his passing in 2010, she continued her music career, transitioning to a solo path in the 2010s. In 2015, she co-founded the vocal trio Cana's Voice. She remarried Landon Beene in 2016.
Greene’s solo catalog includes the albums *The Healing* and *Stronger*, as well as the singles “Good Work,” “Sky Full of Angels,” and “I Walked Today Where Jesus Walked.” She also released the holiday project *Spirit of Christmas*. Her recording of “When The Healing Comes” earned her a GMA Dove Award for Inspirational Recorded Song of the Year in 2019. She received a second Dove Award in the same category in 2023 for “He’s Been Faithful,” a collaboration with the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir.
