Tasha Layton

Tasha Layton is an American contemporary Christian music singer, songwriter, and author. Born on October 27, 1982, and a South Carolina native, her path to Christian music included time as a background vocalist for Katy Perry and as a contestant on the television show *American Idol*. Layton has spoken publicly about her faith journey, including overcoming personal struggles and making the decision to pursue Christian music over a secular pop career. Her catalog includes songs such as "Look What You've Done," "Into The Sea (It's Gonna Be Ok)," "How Far," "Joy Comes In The Morning," "Worship Through It," "Meet Me In The Valley," "Christmas All Year Long," and "The One You Love." She has also authored a book titled *Look What You've Done*. Her song "Look What You've Done" received a nomination for Song of the Year at the Dove Awards. She was also recognized as one of the Top 5 Female Christian Artists of the Year in both 2020 and 2021.
