Tauren Wells

Tauren Gabriel Wells was born on April 7, 1986, in Battle Creek, Michigan. He is an American singer-songwriter, pastor, and author who first gained prominence as the frontman of the Christian pop band Royal Tailor from 2004 to 2015. He launched his solo career in 2016 with the *Undefeated* EP, and his debut solo studio album, *Hills and Valleys*, was released in 2017. Wells is known for blending Christian and gospel music with elements of pop, R&B, and hip-hop. His solo catalog includes songs such as "Hills and Valleys," "Known," "Famous For (I Believe)," "Joy In The Morning," "Take It All Back," "Breathe On It," "Love Is Action," and "Undefeated." His work has earned multiple GMA Dove Awards, including New Artist of the Year, as well as multiple Grammy Award nominations. He has also achieved seven number one radio hits and received RIAA Gold and Platinum certifications for various singles. In addition to his music career, Wells serves as a lead pastor at a church in Austin, Texas, which he planted with his wife, Lorna. He has also authored the book *Joy Bomb: Unleash Jesus's Explosive Joy for an Extraordinary Life*.
