The City Harmonic

The City Harmonic was a Canadian Christian rock and worship band based in Hamilton, Ontario. The band formed in 2009 after its members served together as the house worship band for an inter-denominational event. The members were Elias Dummer (vocals, keyboards, guitar), Eric Fusilier (bass), Aaron Powell (guitar), and Josh Vanderlaan (drums). Their musical style was often described as a mix of Brit-pop and indie rock with anthemic worship themes. The band members viewed themselves as worship leaders and focused on writing songs for congregational singing. Their catalog includes songs such as "Manifesto," "Holy (Wedding Day)," "Praise the Lord," "Oh What Love," "Let There Be Light," and "We Are One." They released the albums *I Have a Dream (It Feels Like Home)* and *Heart*. The City Harmonic won the 2013 Juno Award for Christian/Contemporary Gospel Album of the Year for *I Have A Dream (It Feels Like Home)*. They also won multiple Covenant Awards from GMA Canada, including New Artist of the Year in 2011 and Group of the Year in 2013. The group retired in 2017, releasing a final live album titled *Benediction (Live)*.
