The City Harmonic is a Canadian Christian rock band that was formed in 2009. The band consists of lead vocalist and keyboardist Elias Dummer, guitarist and vocalist Aaron Powell, bassist Eric Fusilier, and drummer and vocalist Josh Vanderlaan. They are known for their powerful and anthemic worship songs that blend rock and pop elements with heartfelt lyrics. The City Harmonic was formed in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, and released their debut EP, Introducing The City Harmonic, in 2010. The EP received positive reviews and helped establish the band's sound and style. It featured the popular songs "Manifesto" and "I Have a Dream (It Feels Like Home)," which became fan favorites and set the stage for their future success. In 2011, The City Harmonic released their first full-length album, I Have a Dream (It Feels Like Home). The album was well-received by both critics and fans and peaked at number 42 on the Billboard Christian Albums chart. The album showcased the band's ability to create catchy and uplifting worship songs, such as the title track "I Have a Dream (It Feels Like Home)" and "Mountaintop." Following the success of their debut album, The City Harmonic released their second full-length album, Heart, in 2013. The album featured the hit single "Holy (Wedding Day)" which reached number 2 on the Billboard Christian Songs chart. Heart was praised for its passionate and sincere worship songs that resonated with listeners. The album peaked at number 31 on the Billboard Christian Albums chart. In 2015, The City Harmonic released their third and final album, We Are. The album showcased the band's growth and maturity in their songwriting and musicality. It featured the singles "We Are One" and "Maranatha (Come Again)," which continued the band's tradition of creating powerful and anthemic worship songs. We Are peaked at number 21 on the Billboard Christian Albums chart. Throughout their career, The City Harmonic has been recognized for their music and impact in the Christian music industry. They have received numerous awards and nominations, including the Juno Award for Contemporary Christian/Gospel Album of the Year in 2013 for their album I Have a Dream (It Feels Like Home). The band's music has also been featured in popular worship compilations, such as the WOW Hits series. In addition to their studio albums, The City Harmonic has also released several live recordings and EPs. These include Live, recorded at the historic Abbey Road Studios in London, and Benediction Live, which features live versions of their popular songs.
