The Quiet Science

The Quiet Science is an American Christian music band that formed in 2008 in Merritt Island, Florida. The group’s core members are husband-and-wife duo Mark Nathan Walter and Daisy Elisabeth Walter, along with Josh Raucci. Their musical style is often described as ethereal and story-driven, blending elements of Christian pop, rock, and alternative rock.

The band has stated that their music is intended to serve as a vehicle for stories of redemption and renewal, often leading the listener to a place of worship. Their early releases include the EP He Calls Me Diamonds (2009) and the albums [With/Without] (2010) and Dark Words on Dark Wings (2011). Their third studio album, The Rekindling of the Stars (2016), was noted as their most worship-centric project to date. The band also released the single Defiant Joy (White Horse) in 2018.

Over the course of their career, The Quiet Science has toured with various artists, including Switchfoot, The City Harmonic, and Remedy Drive.
