The Quiet Science

The Quiet Science is an American Christian music band that formed in 2008 in Merritt Island, Florida. The group’s core members are husband-and-wife duo Mark Nathan Walter and Daisy Elisabeth Walter, along with Josh Raucci. Their musical style is often described as ethereal and story-driven, blending elements of Christian pop, rock, and alternative rock. The band has stated that their music is intended to serve as a vehicle for stories of redemption and renewal, often leading the listener to a place of worship. Their early releases include the EP *He Calls Me Diamonds* (2009) and the albums *[With/Without]* (2010) and *Dark Words on Dark Wings* (2011). Their third studio album, *The Rekindling of the Stars* (2016), was noted as their most worship-centric project to date. The band also released the single *Defiant Joy (White Horse)* in 2018. Over the course of their career, The Quiet Science has toured with various artists, including Switchfoot, The City Harmonic, and Remedy Drive.
