About Tim Godfrey

Timothy Chukwudi Godfrey, known as Tim Godfrey, is a Nigerian gospel singer, music director, songwriter, and producer. Born on August 26, 1980, in Kaduna, Nigeria, he has become a prominent figure in contemporary gospel music, recognized for blending African rhythms with the genre. In 2004, Godfrey founded the gospel music group Xtreme Crew. He is also the founder and owner of the record label Rox Nation. Beyond his work in the studio, he serves as the convener of the annual Fearless Gospel Concert. Godfrey’s catalog includes songs such as "Nara," featuring Travis Greene, as well as "Na You Be God," "God Turned It Around," "Iyanu," "Onaga," "Big God," "Evidence," and "Nwachinemelu." He has collaborated with international gospel artists including Travis Greene, Israel Houghton, and JJ Hairston. In 2018, he received an honorary Doctorate from the Trinity International University of Ambassadors in Georgia, USA.
