Tommee Profitt

Tommee James Profitt is an American songwriter, record producer, and multi-instrumentalist signed to Capitol Christian Music Group. Born on November 12, 1984, he is originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan, and relocated to Nashville, Tennessee, in 2017. A self-taught pianist, Profitt began producing his own music at age 12. Profitt is widely recognized for his cinematic, orchestral production style, which is often used in film, television, and video game trailers. He has achieved significant success as a producer for various artists, most notably rapper NF. Profitt has won multiple GMA Dove Awards for his contributions to Christian music and has been nominated for five Dove Awards overall. He has also produced 23 RIAA Platinum and 26 RIAA Gold certified singles or albums. Profitt has released multiple projects under the *Cinematic Songs* banner since 2017. His 2020 Christmas album, *The Birth of a King*, features orchestral arrangements of traditional carols and has become an annual live concert event. He followed this with *The Birth of a King: Live in Concert* in 2023. In 2025, he released the concept album *THE FALL* with Sam Tinnesz, and in 2026 he released *The Resurrection of a King*. Profitt has stated that he incorporates an element of faith into his creative projects.
