Tope Alabi

Tope Alabi is a Nigerian gospel singer, songwriter, and worship leader. She was born on October 27, 1970, in Lagos State, Nigeria, and hails from Yewa, Imeko-Afon Local Government Area in Ogun State. She studied Mass Communication at The Polytechnic, Ibadan, graduating in 1990, and worked as a correspondent at the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) in Ibadan before entering music ministry. Alabi began her career as an actress and composer of soundtracks for the Yoruba film industry. She transitioned into a full-time gospel music ministry around the year 2000. She is known for her use of the Yoruba language in her gospel music and worship songs. Her catalog includes songs such as "Nigbati Mo Ro" from the album *Angeli Mi*, "Ore ti O Common," "Agbara Nla," "Oruko Tuntun," "Yes and Amen," "Agbara Re Mi," and "Mimo L'Oluwa." She also appears as a featured artist with Psalmos on the song "Kos'oba Bire." Tope Alabi is married to Soji Alabi.
