TY Bello

TY Bello, born Toyin Sokefun-Bello, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, photographer, and philanthropist known for her work in gospel music. She holds a degree in Economics from the University of Lagos. Her artistic career began as a member of the defunct gospel music group KUSH, which stands for Kinetically Ushering Salvation into Hearts and Homes. Transitioning to a solo career, TY Bello released her debut solo studio album, *Greenland*, in 2008. The album earned her a Nigeria Music Award and a Sound City Award. She is recognized for her spontaneous worship sessions and projects that focus on spiritual themes. Her subsequent releases include the albums *The Morning Songbook*, *We Are Fire*, and *Heaven Has Come*, as well as singles such as *The Future*, *Passover*, and *That's My Name*. Beyond music, TY Bello maintains a professional career in photography, balancing her creative pursuits with her gospel music ministry.
