About Uche Agu

Uchechukwu Godstime Agu, known as Uche Agu, is a Nigerian gospel singer, songwriter, and worship leader. He was born on May 3, 1979, in Onitsha, Anambra State, Nigeria, to parents Isikaku and Lovelyn Agu, who were pastors. He later served as a minister of music at Alleluia Ministries in South Africa. Agu gained international recognition as a soloist for the South African gospel ensemble Joyous Celebration. He is known for his lead vocals on the song "My God is Good." His solo catalog includes songs such as "Solid Rock," "Wonderful (African Worship Medley)," "Big God," and "Overflow." He also appeared as a featured artist on the track "Most High" from Dee Jones' album *Break Out*. Throughout his career, Agu has ministered alongside various gospel artists, including Donnie McClurkin, Israel Houghton, and Ron Kenoly. He has performed at major gospel events and congregations in the United Kingdom, the United States, and across Africa. He released the album *The Glory Experience | Live in Houston* and has received awards from the Africa Gospel Music Awards and the Crown Gospel Music Awards.
