Vinesong

Vinesong is an international, interdenominational Christian missionary team that uses music and teaching to spread the gospel. The ministry was founded in 1982 by John Watson following a vision for a ministry to bring healing to the nations. Based in the UK, the team consists of members from various nations and denominational backgrounds. Vinesong is described as a ministry rather than a music group, and they discourage the concept of musical "performance." The team travels and ministers together for approximately 11 months of each year, and has ministered in over 40 nations worldwide. Their music is estimated to be used in over 75 countries. Vinesong is noted for being the first Christian music ministry to minister at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City in 1998. Since 1993, the team has also led praise and worship at the National Day of Prayer in Washington, D.C. Their catalog includes songs such as "Holy Spirit Move Me Now," "Our God Reigns," "God Answers Prayer," "Jesus Your Love / Worship the Lord," "Let Your Living Water Flow," "Peace Like a River," and "The Great Turnaround," as well as the EP "Congress Songs."
