About We Are Messengers

We Are Messengers is an Irish-American contemporary Christian music band formed in 2015. The group is led by frontman and songwriter Darren Mulligan, who was previously a member of the Christian rock band The Remission Flow. The band relocated from Monaghan, Ireland, to Nashville, Tennessee, in 2015 to pursue their music career. Their music is characterized as adult alternative rock with anthemic pop-rock and worship elements, and their lyrics often explore themes of faith, redemption, and personal struggle. The band has achieved multiple top 10 radio singles on Christian music charts and has toured extensively across the United States, Europe, and other international locations. We Are Messengers’ self-titled debut album reached the top 10 of the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart. The song "Come What May" reached #1 on the Billboard Christian Airplay chart. Both "Maybe It's Ok" and "Come What May" are RIAA Gold-certified singles. The band also received a nomination for New Artist of the Year at the 2016 GMA Dove Awards. Their catalog includes songs such as "Come What May," "Maybe It's Ok," "The Devil Is A Liar," "Wholehearted," "Power," "Image of God," "God You Are," and "Magnify."
