Winnie Martins

Winnie Martins, a Nigerian-born gospel singer, songwriter, and worship leader based in Brussels, Belgium, began her music ministry at the age of eight, composing songs during her childhood in Nigeria. She was a member of the church-based all-girls gospel group "Cross Connection," which released the album *You Never Know* in 2006. Martins launched her solo career in 2016 with the single "Your Grace," followed by "Thank You" later that same year. She has performed alongside prominent gospel artists including Ron Kenoly, Buchi, Steve Crown, and Tim Godfrey. Her collaborative work includes the 2018 single "Confidence" featuring Tim Godfrey, "Overdose" featuring Agent Snypa, and the 2019 release "You" featuring Lekan Salamii, Glorious, and Limoblaze. She continued her solo output with the singles "Take Over" in 2020, and "Living Sacrifice" and "God of Elijah" in 2022. In 2018, Martins was named Belgium's Artiste of the Year. Beyond her music career, she serves as a local church coordinator and a youth and women's counselor.
