Zacardi Cortez

Zacardi Cortez is an American gospel musician and solo artist known for his work in the Christian and gospel music industry. Born Zacardi Renye Louis Cortez on September 17, 1985, in Houston, Texas, he began singing in church at the age of five. His early talent was recognized by gospel artist John P. Kee, who mentored him and adopted him as a spiritual son when he was eight years old.

Cortez gained national attention as a member of the group James Fortune & FIYA before launching a solo career. As a solo artist, he releases music within the gospel and Christian R&B genres. His discography includes multiple albums, such as The Introduction (2012), Reloaded (2014), and Imprint: Live in Memphis (2022).
