Jonathan Nelson

Jonathan Nelson is an American gospel singer, songwriter, and worship leader who has left a significant impact on the Christian music industry. Born on November 10, 1974, in Baltimore, Maryland, Jonathan developed an early interest in music and began singing at a young age. He started writing songs when he was thirteen years old and released his first album "Right Now Praise" in 2000.

 

Throughout his career as a gospel artist, Jonathan has released several albums that have received critical acclaim and commercial success. He has won numerous awards including two Stellar Awards for Song of the Year for "My Name Is Victory" (2010) and "Anything Can Happen" (2012). His most recent studio album is titled Declarations which was launched last October 2021.

 

Jonathan's music style represents contemporary Gospel with powerful vocal arrangements that inspire listeners to deepen their faith while worshipping God. He often performs live concerts with his band The Purpose which showcases his skills as both a vocalist and musician.

 

Aside from his music career, Jonathan also serves as a pastor at The Faith Center Church located in Sunrise Florida where he leads weekly services. As part of this ministry work he founded the Worship Experience tour; an annual series of events featuring local artists across America.
