Chorus / Description :
Because He lives, I can face tomorrow
Because He lives, all fear is gone
Because I know He holds the future
And life is worth the living, just because He lives
God sent His son, they called Him Jesus
He came to love, heal and forgive
He lived and died to buy my pardon
An empty grave is there to prove my savior lives
Because He lives, I can face tomorrow
Because He lives, all fear is gone
Because I know He holds the future
And life is worth the living, just because He lives
How sweet to hold a newborn baby
And feel the pride and joy He gives
But greater still the calm assurance
This child can face uncertain day, because He lives
Because He lives, I can face tomorrow
Because He lives, all fear is gone
Because I know He holds the future
And life is worth the living, just because He lives
And then one day, I'll cross the river
I'll fight life's final war with pain
And then, as death gives way to victory
I'll see the lights of glory and I'll know He reigns
Because He lives, I can face tomorrow
Because He lives, all fear is gone
Because I know He holds the future
And life is worth the living, just because He lives
Because he lives is a wonderful hymn by bill gaither, and i first heard that a week after i gave my life to Jesus. I went to church for the first time as a christian and they sang that song Because He lives in this we baptist church in edinburgh the night. I became a christian i remember praying Lord i just want a life worth living free from addiction, free from being homeless. and if that means following you then i'm in all the way. When they sang the song the words popped up on the screen, it was life is worth living just because he lives and that's when I knew I was exactly where I was where I supposed to be, so my hope is that people will know that it's so worth following Jesus.
He is not here; for he is risen, even as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
and as they were affrighted and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?
Yet a little while, and the world beholdeth me no more; but ye behold me: because I live, ye shall live also.
For the death that he died, he died unto sin once: but the life that he liveth, he liveth unto God.
and the Living one; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive for evermore, and I have the keys of death and of Hades.
