Ellicott's Commentary

Ellicott's Commentary for English Readers(13) The oblation.--Ezekiel 45:13-16 provide for a regular tax to be paid to the prince, in order that he may be able to furnish the required offerings at the sanctuary. This, like the oblation of land (Ezekiel 45:1), is described as a "heave offering," and was the sixtieth part of the grain, the hundredth of the oil, and the two-hundredth of the flock, all being from the year's increase.
