Ambwene Mwasongwe

Ambwene Mwasongwe is a Tanzanian gospel musician and songwriter based in Dar es Salaam. He is a born-again Christian who identifies his music as a vehicle for the gospel, with his songwriting noted for its focus on Christian principles, prayer, and faith-based themes.

Mwasongwe has been active in the gospel music industry for over a decade, with career milestones including a 20-year ministry celebration held in 2023. His catalog includes songs such as "Tumekubalika Na Mungu," "Nifundishe Kuomba," "Misuli Ya Imani," "Ombi Langu," and "Ni Wewe." He also released an album titled Moyo Wa Ibada.

Within the East African gospel music scene, Mwasongwe has collaborated with other gospel artists, including Japhet Zabron on the song "Maneno Mazuri" and Asagwile on the track "Wema."
