Chris Renzema

Chris Renzema is a Nashville-based singer-songwriter and producer recognized in the Contemporary Christian Music industry for his faith-centered songwriting. Born in San Antonio, Texas, and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan, he began his musical journey by leading his youth worship band and writing songs inspired by his faith. Renzema released his debut EP, *Age to Age*, in 2014. In 2018, he signed with the Christian record label Centricity Music. His musical style is described as a blend of indie folk, Americana, and contemporary worship, and he is known for his introspective, honest lyrics that explore themes of faith, doubt, and redemption. His catalog includes the albums *I'll Be the Branches* (2018), *Let the Ground Rest* (2020), *Get Out of the Way of Your Own Heart* (2021), and *Manna* (2024). Songs from his career include "Springtime," "Not Giving Up On You," "Faith!?," and "Just As Good." *Let the Ground Rest* received a 2020 GMA Dove Award nomination for New Artist of the Year. The album *Manna* won the 2024 GMA Dove Award for Rock/Contemporary Album of the Year.
