Cory Asbury

Cory Asbury is an American Christian musician, songwriter, and worship leader. He was born Cory Hunter Asbury on October 15, 1985, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He began leading worship at his local church at age 14 and launched his full-time worship ministry at the International House of Prayer (IHOP) in Kansas City in 2005. Asbury served as an associate worship pastor at New Life Church in Colorado Springs, Colorado, starting in 2012, before joining the Bethel Music collective in May 2015. He released his solo album *Let Me See Your Eyes* in 2009. His 2017 single and album *Reckless Love* became a significant success, with the album reaching number one on the Billboard Christian Albums chart in 2018. The song earned him a Grammy nomination for Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song in 2019 and received the ASCAP Christian Song of the Year Award. Asbury has also released the albums *To Love a Fool* (2020) and the live album *Homecoming* (2021), along with singles such as "The Father's House" and "Sparrows." He has been featured on Bethel Music releases, including the songs "Endless Hallelujah" on *VICTORY* and "Egypt" on *Revival's in the Air*. In 2018, he won two GMA Dove Awards and two K-Love Fan Awards. He is currently a worship pastor and artist in residence at Radiant Church in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Asbury is married to his wife, Anna, and they have four children.
