David Ize

David Ize Samuna is a Congolese gospel singer, songwriter, composer, arranger, and worship leader based in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo. He is signed to the Maajabu Gospel label.

Ize began singing in his church choir at the age of five, an early start that shaped his path as a worship leader. His musical style incorporates gospel, rumba, and urban influences, and he performs in multiple languages, including Lingala, French, and English.

His catalog includes songs such as "Permanent" featuring Moïse Ngofo, "Na Ndimi," "Zua kiti," "Benga Ngai," "Maloba ya bomoyi," "Ngolu," and "Avantage" featuring NK Divine. He also released the live album Atmosphère in 2023.

Beyond his own releases, Ize has contributed to musical projects for other Congolese artists, including Mike Kalambayi and Deborah Lukalu.
