Eben

Eben, born Emmanuel Benjamin on September 9, 1979, in Lagos, Nigeria, is a gospel singer, vocalist, and songwriter. He began his career as a rapper before transitioning to gospel singing. He gained significant popularity in 2005 following a performance at a youth conference organized by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome. He was previously a member of the Christ Embassy (Loveworld) choir. Eben is the CEO of the record label Hammer House of Rock. His musical style has been described as incorporating Afrocentric rock and Afropop influences. His catalog includes the albums *Victory*, *On the Rock*, *Phenomenon*, *Justified*, and *Magnified*. He has also recorded songs such as "Imaranma," "God Dey," and "All the Way." Eben is married to fellow gospel vocalist Jahdiel. His work has been recognized with several awards, including Worship Song of the Year at the Believers World Wide (BLW) awards in 2014 and 2015, Best West Africa award at the Africa Gospel Music Awards in 2013, and Album of the Year at the Crystal Awards in 2014.
