About Jesus Culture
Jesus Culture began in 1999 as a youth movement led by Banning Liebscher at Bethel Church in Redding, California. The organization functions as an international Christian revivalist youth outreach ministry. Its mission is to mobilize believers for revival and equip them to demonstrate the love and power of God.
Jesus Culture Music is the ministry’s record label, which releases live praise and worship albums. The collective features various worship leaders and artists, including Chris Quilala, Kim Walker-Smith, Bryan & Katie Torwalt, and Chris McClarney. The group has released multiple live albums, beginning with *Everything* in 2006. Their catalog includes songs such as "Holy Spirit," "Break Every Chain," "How He Loves," "Rooftops," "Defender," "Here Again," "Gold," and "We Give You The Highest Praise."
In 2014, the ministry planted its first local church, Jesus Culture Sacramento, followed by a location in San Diego in 2021. Jesus Culture has also hosted numerous conferences and events globally to serve churches and lead young people in worship. The album *Let It Echo* (2016) debuted at number one on the Christian/Gospel charts, and the album *Living With a Fire* (2018) received a Grammy nomination.
