Jimmy Gait

Jimmy Gait, whose birth name is James Ngaita Ngigi, is a Kenyan gospel artist and minister. He was born on July 15, 1980, in Kiambu District, Kenya. He is a graduate of Moffat Bible College, where he earned a diploma in Bible and Theology. He gained national prominence with his music, which includes songs such as "Pokea Sifa," "Makuu," "Muhadhara," "Huratiti," "Appointment," "Furifuri," "Makekes" featuring Papa Dennis, and "Ole." Beyond his music, Gait has been involved in initiatives like the "Make it or Make it" campaign, which aimed at motivating youth. He has publicly discussed his faith journey and his transition from the gospel music industry to a focus on ministry.
