Joshua Sherman

Joshua Sherman is a worship leader, songwriter, and Minister of Music. He has served as the Minister of Music at Holy Christian Church in Saint Petersburg, Florida, since 2009, a church founded by his parents, Bishop Lewis W. Sherman and Mother Charlene Sherman. In early 2019, he joined Calvary Chapel Boynton Beach as a worship leader. In 2016, Sherman attended the GMA Immerse Conference in Nashville, where he was named Male Artist/Writer of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year. He is a frequent collaborator with the music collective People & Songs and has co-written and performed on multiple projects with The Emerging Sound. Sherman’s recorded work includes appearances on songs such as “Amen,” featuring Charity Gayle and The Emerging Sound, and “What Mercy Did For Me,” featuring Crystal Yates and Micah Tyler. He is also featured on “Let Revival Come (Revive Me)” with Kevin Jones and The Emerging Sound, as well as “Psalm 100 (Enter In)” with Charity Gayle and Steven Musso. Additional recordings include “Psalm 23 (I Am Not Alone)” and “Living in the Overflow” with Charity Gayle.
