About Kanjii Mbugua

Kanjii Mbugua is a Kenyan gospel artist and worship leader. He was born in Nairobi, Kenya, and attended Makini Primary School and Nyeri Baptist High School. He became a Christian at the age of 10 during a Scripture Union Camp. In 1997, he served as Kenya's Youth Ambassador to the world, a role that included a world tour and a diploma in conflict resolution. He studied voice at the Real Music School under Joseph Hellon. A multi-talented musician, he has worked as a producer and was a member of the group Milele. His catalog includes songs such as "Mfalme Mkuu," "Ako Nami," "Kama Si We," "Your Name," "Karibu," and "Ebeneza." He has also released albums including *Rauka* and *Set Us On Fire*, the latter being his 10th studio album and his second live worship album, recorded in Irvine, California. Over the course of his career, he has been nominated for and received awards at the Groove Awards in Kenya. He currently serves at the South West Church in California, USA.
