Lydia Laird

Lydia Laird is a Contemporary Christian Music (CCM) artist signed to Provident Label Group. She grew up in a Christian home in East Texas as one of ten children, and spent part of her childhood in Romania, where her family served as missionaries. She began writing songs at age nine as an outlet for her emotions. Her songwriting often explores personal struggles with mental health, anxiety, and grief through a lens of Christian faith. She released her debut EP, *Hallelujah Even Here*, in 2020. Her catalog includes singles such as "I'll Be Okay," "Meet Me There," "How You See Me Now," "To Be Loved," "This I Know (Jesus Loves Me)," and "Where Your Heart Is." Her album *The Heavy, The Healing, The Holding* was created following the loss of her father in 2023. Through her music, Laird continues to address difficult topics with honesty, offering a perspective rooted in hope.
