Neyi Zimu

Neyi Zimu, born Moses Gcinumuzi Zimu in 1970 in Evaton Small Farms, Gauteng province, was a South African gospel musician, songwriter, and producer. He was also a pastor and the founder of All Nations Revival Ministries in Midrand. Zimu began his career as a member and founder of the gospel groups Family Factory and Joyous Celebration. He released his debut solo gospel album, *Excited*, in 2001. He was also a featured artist on the *Spirit of Praise* gospel project series. His catalog includes songs such as "Lamb Of God," "Jehova Retshepile Wena," "Lord We Worship You," "Yehla Nkosi," "You Remain The Same," "Another Level," "Jeso Rato La Hao," and "Sinenqaba." In 2012, he won a South African Music Award (SAMA). Neyi Zimu passed away in December 2019 at the age of 49. His death was attributed to complications from mycosis fungoides, a rare skin disorder.
