Nosa

Nosa, born Nosakhare Shadrack Omoregie on February 26, 1981, in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria, is a Nigerian contemporary Christian singer, songwriter, and recording artist who identifies as a gospel music minister. He studied Engineering at the University of Benin (UNIBEN) before pursuing a full-time career in music. His musical journey began at age seven in his church's children's choir. Nosa is known for his fusion of soul, jazz, and highlife music with gospel themes, and he is recognized for his frequent use of Nigerian Pidgin English in his inspirational songs. He signed with the record label Chocolate City in 2012 and later founded his own label, Salt Music, in 2020. Nosa released his debut studio album, *Open Doors*, in 2014.
