Pastor Mike Jr.

Michael DeWayne McClure Jr., known professionally as Pastor Mike Jr. or PMJ, is a contemporary gospel artist and the founder and pastor of Rock City Church in Birmingham, Alabama. Born on August 15, 1983, in Birmingham, he holds a diploma of Theology from Ashland Theological Seminary. His music is noted for blending powerful worship with authentic storytelling, and he has been described as the "New King of Urban Inspiration." Pastor Mike Jr. released his debut solo album, *Live Free*, in 2019. The album reached number one on the Billboard Top Gospel Albums chart. He is the first gospel artist to earn the Stellar Award for Artist of the Year two years in a row. He is also the first artist on the Gospel Airplay chart to have seven number-one hits, including songs such as "Big," "I Got It," "Impossible," "Winning," "Amen," "Not Jesus," "Still Here," and "Miracles." A multi-Stellar Award-winning artist and a Dove Award nominee, Pastor Mike Jr. won six Stellar Awards at the 37th annual ceremony, including Album of the Year for *I Got It: Singles Ministry Vol. 1*.
