Song Meaning

Kierra Sheard and Pastor Mike Jr. build the song around a specific verbal habit — speaking things before they've happened. "I just said it'll keep happening, well look now, it's really happening... whatever you speak, it unfolds" sets up the song's central claim before the chorus ever arrives: "He performed miracles, just like He said He would."

That confidence in spoken faith echoes Mark 11:24 — "whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours" — though the song pushes past asking into declaring, treating the miracle as already underway rather than still pending. The line "in spite of a negative doctor's report" grounds that declaration in a real, specific kind of bad news rather than a vague one.

By the second half the song abandons narrative structure almost entirely, repeating "he performed miracles" and "another one" dozens of times — less a bridge than a testimony spoken until it becomes chant. Luke 1:37's promise that "nothing will be impossible with God" sits underneath all of it, the quiet premise that makes the repetition make sense: if nothing is impossible, then naming the miracles one after another isn't excess, it's just accurate counting.

I just said it’ll keep happening

Well look now, it’s really happening

What you thought was impossible

You said yes now He’s on a roll

Blessings keep stacking

Warfare, you packing

He’s never leaving you alone

Whatever you speak, it unfolds

Whatever you say here

He’s backing up there

Whatever you say here

He’s backing up there

So speak whatever you want

What you’ve been dreaming, you’ve got it

Look at what He’s doing

I lived to see the miracles

I’m wearing His yoke

In with the new

Out with the old

It’s joy to my soul

Now receive what you’ve prayed for

I declare that it’s yours

He performed miracles

Just like He said He would (Hey) (4x)

May the God of love

Fill you with peace and hope

To live to see it all

You’ve got to see it all

Go on and live (Live)

Live to see another day (Live)

You gotta live (Live)

Live to see it happen (Live to see it happen)

Say live (Live)

In spite of a negative doctor’s report (Live)

In spite of your enemy (Oh, live)

You outta shout I’ma live (Live to see it happen)

You gotta live (Live to see it happen)

Live to see it happen (Live to see it happen)

God is on your side (Live to see it happen)

Oh hey, yeah (Live to see it happen)

Live (Live to see it happen)

He performed miracles

Just like He said He would (Hey) (4x)

He performed miracles (12x)

He performed miracles

Just like He said He would

He performed miracles

Just like He said He would

He performed miracles

Just like He said He would (Hey)

He performed miracles

Just like He said He would (Hey)

He performed miracles

Just like He said He would (Hey)

He performed miracles

Just like He said He would (Hey)

Say way maker (Way maker)

Way maker (Way maker)

He performed miracles (He performed miracles)

You’re looking at a miracle (He performed miracles)

You’re looking at a miracle

He performed miracles (He performed miracles)

Just like He said He (Just like He said He would)

Just like He said He would (Just like He said He would)

And another one

Another one (Another one, another one)

Another one

Another one (Another one, another one)

Another one

Another one (Another one, another one)

Another one

Another one (Another one, another one)

It’s another one

He performed miracles (Hey)
